Every colour this shop names is sampled from the print file itself rather than chosen off a list, so the value below is the colour the picture is, not the colour someone decided to call it. Each print's measured value is published here for the same reason its size is: it is checkable, and a word like teal is not.
How is the colour measured?
The dominant value is read out of the finished file and sorted into a family. Nothing is typed by hand, which matters because a typed colour is a second thing to keep true — it drifts the first time a file is re-exported, and then the shop is filed under a colour it no longer is.
Blue prints
Cooler, and further off. Pale violet where the wash thins, settling towards slate where it gathers.

Neutral prints
Almost no colour at all. A pale ground with the faintest tint held in it, closer to paper than to ink, and no edge anywhere for the eye to catch.
